![]() That didn't fix things it still complains about my certificate, so I am now a little puzzled at what next to try and thus I wondered if anybody else had come across this issue and fixed it? Of course, I can indeed use a browser to log onto the RealVNC site and my exceptions do result in me seeing their certificates ( uses Amazon and the login page uses GeoTrust both are visible via clicking on the Firefox padlock).Īs I say, I don't actually have a requirement for RealVNC Viewer to log on (well, certainly not at the moment) so the above question is more just to improve my education (and trust me, it sure does need some considerable improving likely I am missing something that's blindingly obvious, I reckons )! :-) That didn't help, so I enabled logging in RealVNC connect, then discovered that it was moaning about my certificate (so the above seems not to have done the job) and looking through the RealVNC log entries (during an attempted login) I noticed several other https URLs listed: I then created an exception, as shown below: I don't need it's cloud feature to access machines outside of my internal network, but for my own curiosity, I was trying to get the RealVNC viewer to connect to my RealVNC account, but it just states that there's 'no network' (Linux version) or that it 'Failed to sign in to account due to a network error' (Windows version) I just use RealVNC to access machines (on two different VLANs) on my local network and it all works very well. It is not something that I even require, but I am just really curious to know what the solution might be. ![]() It all works fabulously well, but I have stumbled across an odd issue that I have not yet figured out. ![]() ![]() I am using UTM 9.506-2 in Transparent mode, with https traffic being inspected and the CA installed on my various machines and browsers. ![]()
